Buy George!

There’s only two George’s in my life that mean anything to me. The first is George Washington, because with his face on the dollar bill I get to see him every day and appreciate all that he had done for our country.

The other George is Jones. He is the epitome of country music and he’s lived most of the songs that he sings. Who couldn’t be fascinated with the stories of his drunken escapades, his marriage to the First Lady of Country, Tammy Wynette, and all their wonderful duets. Then the dumbass gets kicked to the curb and Tammy D-I-V-O-R-C-E’s his drunk ass.

So the Possum must need more money because he’s putting out a new CD this month and it’s not got anything new on it, from what I’ve been told. He’s just trying to harvest more money out of work he’s already done. What an ass. But you can’t help but love the guy, and I’ll probably help the guy out and buy his new CD.

Achoo!

Allergy meds have become impossible to buy without a lot of drama thanks to all those low life meth heads. All I want is the box of pills that I’ve been using for years and years, but nowadays I either buy a changed and weakened formula off the shelf, or I have to go to the pharmacy window, wait in line with all the sick people, show ID and be limited to just two boxes at a time. This is crazy!

Come on Green Bay

All this drama about a quarterback who wants to retire and then changes his mind and wants to come back, which would bump the new guy unfairly and throw the whole team in a tizzy. It’s crazy!

I don’t care if Brett plays or not, but if Green Bay brings him back, he needs to be second string and let the new guy have his shot. Brett’s had his time in the sun – it’s time to move on.

Looking for Work

The rising cost of gas is killing me. I can’t cut back anyplace else to offset the extra cost when gas has gone up to over $4.00 per gallon. Today I had to pay $4.09 and it took over $100 to fill up the truck. With my work, I have to fill up at least twice a week. The only place left to save money is to cut back on groceries and I don’t spend that much on food n the first place.

The only other thing I can figure out is to get a second job. If I can make an extra $200 per week I’ll be OK unless gas keeps going up. I just don’t know how I can fit in another job with my crazy work schedule. I can’t make that much on just a Saturday. But I’ll be reading the classifieds and asking around this week looking for something to help bring in more money.
